$12/month	Web Hosting	Our current web hosting service provider is 1and1.com. While their download speeds are a bit slow, we have ~2GB of web storage. If you ever decide to use them, please use this link, as we'll get a 1 month free service referral bonus. If you do this, please let us know so we can make sure the credit goes through. The hiking exchange can't use their cheaper package as it doesn't provide some of the services we need to run our web scripts.

$10/month	DSL Service	$35/month, we estimate it's used 20-30% of the time for northbayhikes uploads and web development.
160hrs/year	Web programming	Average time spent working on the web site. Some months it's zero, other months it's most of the weekends.
not included	Software	We use a paid version of Microsoft Sharepoint Designer and other tools like Adobe Photoshop to work on the web site.
other files	Web Hosting	We also host our family web site using the same package, but only because there is extra space. We update that site once or twice a year, whereas northbayhikes is used daily so the pro-rated amount is negligable - perhaps 10%?
